Your tenacity, diligence, knowledge and patience (including that which was required in dealing with me, the seller) seemed inexhaustible, although I am sure there had to have been some tenuous moments.

In addition to handling the brokering duties you were kind enough to act as a property manager on my behalf. Any issues that arose were either handled by you personally or through your many accumulated throughout both your career and residence in the area. The way these contacts responded to you spoke loudly to the relationships you have built over time. This afforded me the luxury of not having to make the two hour plus trip each way in the majority of circumstances while the property sat empty. Your prompt availability by phone or email added tremendous comfort to the entire process.

You managed to very deftly negotiate the transaction itself while simultaneously handling my lack of familiarity with real estate in general and with this area in particular. You constantly went above and beyond the call of duty. Your patience, expertise and professionalism made all the difference Don!

Don took us on as first time cottage buyers and we were completely ignorant of the complexities of purchasing waterfront property in the Penetanguishene area on Southern Georgian Bay. Don provided great advice and showed great patience. After viewing many properties and a lengthy education process, we settled on a property for which Don also represented the seller. He handled the conflict well and we received good advice during the negotiation. We bought a property that we love and feel we paid a fair price and Don provided us with a first rate service throughout the search and purchase.

The family is absolutely tickled with the outcome and realize that it would not have been so if not for your involvement. You went far beyond the call of duty and made this process as painless as possible. I have not known anyone in your profession to do all that you have on our behalf and we are all grateful to you.

We purchased a cottage at Coutnac Beach in 1968 and experienced many enjoyable years there. During the last few years the extra work required keeping up two places became increasingly difficult. You approached us a couple of times and we said we were giving some thought of selling. You called again this April and we asked you to do some research to determine the value. The weather was bad and we did not get up until late May. You advised us you may have someone who was interested so we decided to list with you on June 3rd and left for the city. That evening we received an offer by email and decided to accept the offer. We returned the accepted offer to you the same evening. We agreed to the purchaser's request for an early closing date of June 21st 2013.

Then you went to work getting the septic and well documentation, testing the well water and many additional requirements. You also recommended a lawyer in the area. The sale closed without problem on June 21st, eighteen days after we had listed. You handled the transaction in an open and professional manner. You were 100% true to your words in every all areas of our transaction and you exceeded our expectations completely.
